People inherently long to justify their feelings or assumptions. The catch is that they self-certify their guesses based on any stimuli from their subject.

A man chooses not to speak much.

I knew I was right! You are sad!

I knew I was right! You are mad!

I knew I was right! You are in love!

Which of these can be proven true. None of them. And yet, you will believe your assumption. So I caution you, be careful, for the world you create for yourself is the one you will live in.
